Peter Gurney ride will run from Newton Manor and there will be 2 rides: 10 miles and 5 miles.
Dressage and Show Jumping: There are 2 competitions this season. Dressage tests from Intro - Elementary. All competitions will use the new 2024 tests
Combined Training returns for 2026 and combines Dressage and SJ into one class. Tests range from Intro - Novice with jumping heights 50-80 cm. Dressage only and
SJ only classes are also on offer up to 90cm. (The second country jumping scores will be combined with this competitions results
to act as a one day event)
Country Jumping: There is 1 competition this season running over a XC length course. Heights from 50-90cm. This competition will run over knockdown fences.
Working Hunter: Lead rein and assisted classes are offered over small X poles. 50 -90cm classes and a ridden only hunter class.
Combined Challenge: A new competition for 2026 which includes show jumping followed by XC course. Classes 50-90cm

Entries should be made in advance using the entry form.
Entries should be sent via Cumbria Riding Club Facebook page messenger OR WhatsApp to Vicky Stabler on 07891616614. A photo or digital copy of the entry form or details as required on the entry form below should be included.
Payment should be made by Cheque or by BACs.
Cheques to be made payable to ‘Cumbria Riding Club’ and posted to Louise Hufton, The Byre, Commongate Farm, Low Moresby, CA28 6RX
Payment via BACs can be made to Account name: Cumbria Riding Club Account number - 91014900 Sort code- 40-22-16. Add the Reference number of the Entry form.
Late entries may be accepted but there will be an additional £5 per class charge.
Entries on the day may be accepted (if time and conditions allow) for a second class only (ie: you have pre-entered a class but decide to do an additional one on the day). There is a charge of £10 per class which must be paid on the day via BACs or cash.
Hats and Body Protectors:
Please ensure Hats and Body Protectors are of the current standard.
Hats and body protectors will be checked at events and if they don't meet the required standard competitos will not be permitted to compete.
Horses age and whips:
Please ensure you follow the BRC rulings on horses age and also on the length and use of whips. Please also refer to the CRC News section and schedules for further information.

Headwear and Body Protector Standards for 2025
Please ensure you are familiar and comply with the new updated Standards for Headwear and Body Protectors (Introduced in 2024). Changes to BRC Standards have been made and will impact the 2025 season (and beyond). These can also be found on the British Riding Club's website and in the Handbook / Rulebook for 2025.
